FAQ

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Q. How do I store them?
A. We want you to enjoy our products at their best so here are some recommendations : Store in dry, ambient conditions, away from direct sunlight. Eat within the best before date printed on pack. Our Tweeners can also be frozen on receipt for up to 3 months. We advise only freezing once.
Q. How long will they last for?
A. Well that depends on how long you can resist them for! Eat within the best before date printed on the pack. We aim to deliver our meringues to you with a shelf life of 9 weeks for our Giants and a shelf life of 23 weeks for our Drops, Bites & Pavs. Please see the best before date printed on pack. Our cakes will have a best before date of 5 days on delivery. Our muffins will have a best before date of minimum 20 days on delivery. We’re all different when it comes to how we like our meringues – which side are you on? Light, crisp and full of crunch all the way through or crispy on the outside and soft in the middle? We bake all of our meringues to order to ensure you get the freshest products but if you prefer your meringues with a softer centre, we’d advise eating them as soon as possible following delivery.
Q. What can I serve your meringues with?
A. The serving ideas are endless - enjoy simply on their own, with lashings of cream, ice cream, crème fraiche or even yoghurt, with mountains of berries, drizzles of coulis, dollops of curd …be as adventurous as you dare. Don’t forget to drop by online, say hello and tell us how you ate yours.

NUTRITIONAL & ALLERGENS

Q. Which products are gluten free?
A. Our gluten free muffins are certified as gluten free. Our meringues do not contain gluten containing ingredients.
Q. What is the difference between Gluten Free and Naturally Gluten Free?
A. The term ‘Gluten Free’ can only be applied to foods which contain 20ppm (parts per million) or less. 'The term ‘Naturally Gluten Free’ means the ingredients within a product are inherently / by nature gluten free.
Q. Which products are suitable for Vegetarians?
A. All of our products are suitable for Vegetarians with the exception of: Strawberry Pavlova and Giant Swiss Eton Mess
Q. Allergens?
A. Our products are all produced in a bakery where nuts & peanuts are used. Please contact us for a full list of allergens/ingredients if required.
Q. My meringue has a soft centre – is it cooked?
A. Freshly made our meringues are, by nature, soft and mallow in the centre. Although to some this may appear under cooked, our meringues are 100% safe to eat.  We use pasteurised free range egg white to produce all of our meringues and also bake them to reach a core temperature which is strictly controlled by HACCP, a food safety system to ensure food is safe to eat.
Q. Are all the flavours natural in your meringues?
A. We try to use natural flavours whenever we can. However there are some instances where the natural flavours aren't fit for purpose.. It is with these circumstances we would use a non-natural flavour, as they tend to be more bake stable. The following flavours are classified as 'non-natural', Fruit Bites Pack: Lime only. Classic Bites Pack: Hazelnut only.
Q. Do your products contain Palm Oil?
A. All of our meringues are free from Palm Oil, however our cakes and muffins do contain this.
Q. Where can I find the nutritional information for meringues?
A. Please click here.
