You may have noticed that our Meringue Bar packaging has had a bit of a glow-up recently. With a fresh and colourful new vibe, it was about time we hit the refresh button on our website pics to truly capture the deliciousness of your favourite meringue-packed bundles!
Capturing the perfect photo of your under-100-calorie meringue snacks can be just as satisfying as eating them (well...maybe!). And with this in mind, we want to challenge YOU to capture the perfect photo of your favourite meringue snack. Whether you're a seasoned photographer or a newbie looking to spruce up your Instagram game, here are three simple hacks to take your meringue photos to the next level...
1. Natural light is your Best Friend!
Lighting can make or break your photo! Natural light brings out the true colours and textures of your meringue snacks, making them look even more irresistable for the gram!
Position your set up near a window or take your meringues outside. Avoid holding your snack in direct sunlight though as this can create harsh shadows (like the image below). Instead, aim for soft, diffused light like you get on a cloudy day, under some trees, or by using something such as a sheer curtain.
2. Play with those angles
Once you've got the lighting ready, experiement with different angles and compositions to get that unique and dynamic feel. Have a go at shooting from above and below or you could get up-close to highlight that irresistability crisp texture of our meringues with the smoooooth cocolate coating (chef's kiss!).
