Gourmet Meringue Bar Sandwich Recipe
We’re celebrating #NationalSandwichDay the Flower & White way with these indulgent Meringue Bar sarnies! The flavour combinations are endless and a perfect treat to spoil yourself for a midnight feast on a cold winter’s night!
In this blog post, we’ll be demonstrating how to make a Banana Hazelnut Meringue Sandwich.
INGREDIENTS:
2 Flower & White Salted Caramel Meringue Bars Hazelnut spread
1 banana
Optional sprinkles for decoration
METHOD:
1. Unwrap your two meringue bars and set aside
2. Chop the banana up into thin discs
3. Smother a thin layer of hazelnut spread on the flat side of both meringue bars
4. Layer the banana over the hazelnut spread of one meringue bar
5. Sandwich the two halves together and enjoy!
